## What this service does
 
- Instant, name-based Colorado-only CHRI background checks from any computing device, available 24/7
- Cost: $6.00 per result viewed online (vs. $13.00 for a mailed-in manual search that takes up to 3 business days); each search result downloaded incurs a separate fee — common names may return multiple matches
- Search requires: first and last name (mandatory), date of birth (mandatory); Social Security number optional but improves match accuracy
- Data source: fingerprint-based submissions from Colorado law enforcement agencies only (no other state or federal databases)
- Not included: juvenile arrests (17 and younger, unless adjudicated as an adult), traffic arrests under 16, records sealed by court order, warrant information
- Every ICHC report includes a secure digital signature that verifies its authenticity and detects whether the report has been altered after it was issued
- ICHC reports cannot be notarized (notarized copies require a mailed request to CBI)
- Colorado is an open-records state (C.R.S. 24-72-305.5); records may not be used for direct solicitation of business for pecuniary gain
- Payment: Visa, Mastercard (AMEX and pre-pay for account holders); pre-pay balances can be funded by ACH bank transfer (set up and managed in account settings) or by check payable to Logikco
